About the wine:
The sweet white wine “Aruna” is a perfect example for the dynamics of the different vines and expressions that the Kurtatsch vineyards offer. So we have on one part the “Gewürztraminer” which is one of the most difficult varieties in the vineyard. And “Goldmuskateller” (Yellow Muscat) displays his sleek aromatic structure in extraordinary locations only.
Autumn low clouds in the region are favorable for development of noble rot on the skin of the berries. This makes the wine unique and gives him regional characteristics. As well a bunch of fruits on the nose and a remarkable long life.
Hints of mountain-apricots, pears and lavender honey gives a mouth filling sensation. The incredible crispy acidity and the sugar carry the wine into a long aftertaste.
