Vinification: Following the traditional fermentation of mesh in wooden barrels, the wine is given time to mature in French barriques, where the malolactic fermentation takes place. After bottling, the wine continues to mature while still in the winery.

Tasting notes:

Color: Intense ruby red

Aroma: Subtle notes of black cherry, red berries and plum; spicy hints of cinnamon and clove, a whiff of vanilla and tobacco

Flavor: Mouth-filling with velvety tannin

Serving temperature: 16-18 °C (61-64 °F)

Stir-fries, game poultry, venison and tangy cheeses.
