Denomination: Südtirol Lagrein Kretzer DOC

Grape: 100% Lagrein

Terroir: Bolzano, alluvial porphyry rich soil from Isarco River

Vinification: Organic production (certification since 1994), Fermentation with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks and maturation for 8 months. Than another 8 months ripening in the bottle

Description: Light orange, ruby red in color. The nose shows aromas of cherries, strawberries and candied red currants. The palate shows this wine to closer to a light red with round and weighty tannins, red plums and rhubarb with a discrete, yet grippy finish.

Food pairing: Goes well with aromatic starters, smoked fish and white meat

Serving temperature: 9-11 °C
