Pöckl

The history of the Pöckl winery begins in 1910 when Albert Pöckl returned to Austria from the USA. He laid the foundation for agriculture, which at that time consisted of agriculture, cattle breeding and viticulture. Over the years, the Pöckl family first specialized in viticulture in general and then in particular in red wine. And the success proves them right. Because the area in and around Mönchhof offers the ideal breeding ground for Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch, but also for international varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Due to the right planting and the favorable climatic conditions, the Pöckls can fully live out their passion for red wine.
