VILLA RUSSIZ CHARDONNAY "GRÄFIN DELLA TOUR"

Grape varieties: 100% Chardonnay

Geographic area: Vineyards located near the centre facing south, on land entirely composed of marl soil.

N° vines per hectare: 5,500 with Guyot training system.

Vinification: When fully ripe, the grapes are hand-picked in the coolest hours of the morning. They quickly reach the cellar, where the whole grapes are lightly pressed. The free-run must produced is first decanted then collected in small 225 lt. oak barrels for around 8 months, then blended in stainless steel tanks and left to age in the bottle for 12 months.

Organoleptic characteristics: Slightly golden yellow colour with greenish highlights, intense nose evoking a blend of ripe apple, vanilla and citrus fruits. Defined, balanced structure.

Pairing suggestions: Ideal accompaniment to complex pasta and rice dishes with both fish and meat, and second courses featuring white meat.
