Nicolussi-Leck

Here on the warm, sandy loam and porphyry rock of the Monte di Mezzo, their premium grapes thrive at 350 m a.s.l, on steep slopes with a gradient of up to 40%, fanned by the steady Ora breeze from Lake Garda. The diversity of the unique location with its east, south and west-facing slopes allows them to find the best possible conditions for each single variety. They work year-round on their vineyards, with passion and dedication. Their new wine cellar is integrated into the slopes, covers several floors and has been built to exceptional technical standards, enabling them to produce exceptional natural wines. A constant climate, natural through-draught and shotcrete supporting walls, the force of gravity to assist with the processing of their grapes and the storage of their wines within the 700 year-old walls of the farm, attached to their new cellar, are just a few of the unusual features of the Nicolussi-Leck winery. A glass of fine wine is the product of climate, nature, and their own hard graft.
