LAGEDER VOGELMAIER MOSCATO

Grape variety: Yellow Muscat

Description: bright straw-yellow colour with green reflections. Fresh, quite pronounced floral notes and impressions of subtropicalfruit. Medium-bodied, vinous with a harmonious flavour, dry. Good fresh, quite intense, long lasting aftertaste. When properly cellared, this wine will may be kept for at least 3 to 5 years.

Suggested food: as an aperitif or after-dinner drink, with well-flavoured starters such as sausages, pâtés and terrines, grilled fish, especially Tuna, Asian food, cheeses.

Origin: Vogelmaier estate vineyard located near the Lake Caldaro at an altitude of 300 to 400 metres a.s.l. (990 - 1,300 feet), exposed to South, South-East. Soils are sandy, gravely and partially loamy. Warm mesoclimate.

Age of the vines: 5 - 28 years

Vinification: soft crushing and pressing of the grapes, fermentation in stainless steel tanks, maturation for approximately six months on the lees.
